I am a professionally trained and qualified counsellor and psychotherapist registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I offer short and long-term therapy in-person in Central London, near Holborn / Chancery Lane, as well as online via video conferencing platforms such as Zoom. I am also a qualified clinical supervisor and offer supervision to therapeutic practitioners. Contact me by email or phone to arrange an initial meeting to find out how I might be able to help you.
I understand therapy as a process of self-exploration within the safety of a therapeutic relationship that is characterised by acceptance, empathy and authenticity. I work in a client-led way, which means that our work together will be unique and will respond to what would be helpful and therapeutic for you. I provide an open, supportive, and non-judgemental space to explore the issues and feelings that you bring to the session.
Therapy can help with a wide range of issues, including:
- lack of confidence and low self-esteem
- bereavement and loss
- depression and anxiety
- sexual and relationship issues
- work-related stress and redundancy
- feelings of being stuck or just something not being quite ‘right’ in life
There is unequivocal evidence that, on average, talking about such issues with a trained therapist will have a positive impact on people’s mental health and well-being, leading to greater happiness and freedom (check out Does therapy work? for more information).
